Dr. Jacob Dent is an innovative general dentist, multi-practice owner, and nationally recognized speaker with more than 22 years of clinical experience. Known for his outside-the-box approach to patient care, he has dedicated his career to treating patients of all ages and abilities through non-conventional desensitization techniques that make dental care more accessible and comfortable.

A Fellow of the Academy of Dentistry International, Dr. Dent serves as the Clinical Director for Special Olympics Special Smiles and is the Co-founder of Dental Desensitization Systems. His personal journey as the father of a son with autism has fueled his passion for advancing inclusive dental care and equipping dental teams with practical strategies to better serve patients with sensory and behavioral challenges.
